Our Story

Wade Ceramics has a long and illustrious history but, we are equally as proud of our ability to adapt and change to the world around us. Initially founded in 1810, supplying the textile, wool spinning and brewing industries, we have developed into one of Britain's most cherished manufacturers.

Our aim has always been to produce ceramics of the highest possible quality, and we are delighted that we were able to create beautifully crafted commemorative pieces for many of the 20th Century's iconic moments.

We are very proud of our Dignity, Barchester and Deco ranges of ceramics which have been designed especially for use by those who have dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

Based on research carried out by Stirling University's Dementia Services Development Centre, our talented design team has developed a range of items that is easy to use and can help with hydration and nutrition by encouraging independent eating and drinking.
